A woman who feels rejected by her family finds acceptance in her boyfriend, who practices black magic. However, after they split up she becomes convinced he has put a curse on her and desperately struggles to convince a succession of friends, doctors and religious figures of her fears in the hope of finding a way of breaking the spell.
