Synopsis:
A young woman desperate to escape her authoritarian father leaves her rural home and moves to the city. She ends up pregnant, abandoned by her boyfriend and struggling to make ends meet working as a cleaner. When her father is rushed to hospital, she is reunited with her mother, and the two women attempt to turn their unhappy lives around.
