Soccer Dog: The Movie

It's inevitable that any soccer-related movie is likely to be wheeled out as Euro 2004 fever sweeps the nation - pity most of them are so awful. This is no exception, and adds insult to injury by displaying no understanding of the beautiful game. It tells the tale of a footie-mad youngster who befriends a stray pooch which miraculously helps his team overcome their losing streak - but it isn't long before the intervention of a dog-catcher threatens to end their friendship.
