A Hollywood director is so dejected at the failure of his latest epic that he decides to kill himself, but when his attempt fails, he's forced to think again. He soon comes up with a far more devious scheme - and sets out to remake his flop as a sex film. Blake Edwards' vicious comedy satirising the movie industry, starring the film-maker's real-life wife Julie Andrews alongside Richard Mulligan, Robert Preston, Larry Hagman, Shelley Winters and Robert Vaughn
