Synopsis:

Premiere. A 12-year old Jewish boy eagerly awaits his Bar Mitzvah in 1966. However, what should have been the biggest day of his life is overshadowed when England get through to the world cup final with the match set to be played on the same day. As friends and family come up with suspicious excuses to be elsewhere, he also has to contend with his father's money worries and his troublemaking older brother.
