Movie (1954)
A Greek sculptor is sold into slavery by his cruel uncle, but enjoys a measure of freedom when his talents are recognised, ultimately earning a commission to sculpt an ornate silver replica of the cup used in the Last Supper. This task takes him on a journey round the world, and into contact with a crazed charlatan claiming to be the Messiah. Biblical drama, starring Paul Newman and Virginia Mayo
