Movie (2001)
Anti-social ogre Shrek resolves to foil the plans of an evil ruler whose banishment of fairy-tale characters has disrupted his peaceful life. However, events take a complicated turn when the reluctant hero is forced to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from a castle guarded by a dragon, aided only by a wisecracking donkey. Excellent animated adventure, enjoyable for adults as well as their little monsters, with the voices of Mike Myers, John Lithgow, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Vincent Cassel.
