Viewers should seize this opportunity to see Claude Lanzmann's stunning, nine-and-a-half hour documentary in its entirety - it's not shown often, for obvious reasons. The film provides a shocking insight into the experiences of those involved in the Holocaust, via harrowing interviews with a host of those involved, including prisoners and the Nazi officers in charge of them. It might be lengthy, but is never less than compelling
