Synopsis:

Howard Keel stars alongside Jane Powell in this musical Western about a cowboy whose decision to get married prompts his six hell-raising brothers to follow suit - by kidnapping prospective brides. Stanley Donen directs, while the Johnny Mercer-Gene de Paul score keeps things moving at an enjoyable pace. Adolph Deutsch and Saul Chaplin picked up an Academy Award for their musical direction, but it's Michael Kidd's wonderful dance sequences that really shine
