Big Bird is unhappy at being sent to live with a family of his own kind and runs away, so Kermit and the gang set out to find him. The troubled bird must decide whether to give his adoptive clan chance or move back with his old Sesame Street pals. Muppet adventure aimed squarely at tots, with John Candy, Chevy Chase and Sandra Bernhard, and the voices of Carroll Spinney, Jim Henson and Frank Oz
