Joanne Whalley is on fine form in this insightful political drama as the infamous Christine Keeler, whose affairs with MP John Profumo (Ian McKellen) and a Russian diplomat (Jeroen Krabbé) brought scandal to the British government in 1963. John Hurt plays the doctor who introduced a host of glamour girls to high-flying figures, while Bridget Fonda delivers a scene-stealing performance as Mandy Rice-Davies
