An aspiring teenage kickboxer falls for the most beautiful and intelligent girl in his class, and to his delight she feels the same way about him - but her father isn't quite so enthusiastic about the relationship. Smart comedy drama, starring John Cusack, Ione Skye and John Mahoney, and featuring a cameo from Cusack's real-life sibling Joan who, naturally, plays his character's sister. Written and directed by Cameron Crowe, this is a particular treat for fans, since the film was not originally released in UK cinemas
