The first of five Randolph Scott Westerns showing this week charts a man's efforts to prevent his three wayward brothers from becoming outlaws. Director Irving Pichel struggles with the muddled and sweeping storyline, but Scott more than makes up for it in the lead role with a solid, believable performance.
