Synopsis:
A teenager is abandoned when his delusional would-be poet mother and alcoholic father split up. The dysfunctional couple leave their son in the care of their eccentric and unorthodox psychiatrist and his extended family - who form an even more unusual household. Dark comedy, based on Augusten Burroughs' autobiographical book. Joseph Cross plays the young author alongside an impressive cast including Annette Bening, Brian Cox, Joseph Fiennes and Gwyneth Paltrow.
