Steve Martin stars in this delightful old-fashioned romantic comedy, playing a bold fireman who thinks he'll never win the heart of lovely astronomer Darryl Hannah due to his large nose. Instead, he agrees to help a handsome colleague woo her, causing himself no end of heartache. Fantastic modern reworking of Cyrano de Bergerac, with Martin at the peak of his powers - the scene where he's challenged to come up with 20 insults off the cuff is priceless.
