Romantic novelist Kathleen Turner goes in search of her kidnapped sister in the steamy jungles of South America, only to become the target of a fanatical general determined to get his hands on a valuable treasure map. Luckily, assistance is at hand in the form of craggy daredevil fortune-hunter Michael Douglas, who's hoping for a share of the profits.
