Movie (2007)
Éric Rohmer's adaptation of Honore d'Urfe's 17th-century tale about the love shared between chivalric shepherd Celadon and obstinate shepherdess Astrea. When the pair are torn apart by the lies of a jealous suiter, Celadon tries to take his own life by jumping into a river. The star-crossed lover is rescued by water-nymphs and sets about trying to recapture Astrea's heart. Romantic drama, starring Andy Gillet and Stéphanie Crayencour
