Movie (1993)
Mel Brooks sends up the Sherwood Forest legend in this dim, laugh-an-hour spoof, which came just two years after Kevin Costner had given the legend a more serious reappraisal. Carey Elwes, Richard Lewis and Tracey Ullman star, but the comedy never reaches the lofty and hilarious heights of Brooks' earlier films such as The Producers and Young Frankenstein.
