Movie (1995)
The excellent Liam Neeson heads the cast of this epic adventure as 18th-century Scottish hero Rob Roy MacGregor, who exposes the nefarious scheme of a nobleman planning to ruin his peaceful Highland community, and leads his countrymen in rebellion. Director Michael Caton-Jones makes superb use of the stunning locations, and the film's action sequences are breathtaking. Jessica Lange, John Hurt, Eric Stoltz and Brian Cox co-star in this ambitious adventure from film-maker Michael Caton-Jones, while Tim Roth is on Bafta-winning form as one of the villains.
