Emily Osment stars in this children's fantasy horror as Cassie, a 13-year-old girl who moves to a new neighbourhood with her family and struggles to make friends. To entertain herself, she plays a series of pranks on the popular students at her school. On a trip to a Halloween shop to purchase new tricks, Cassie unearths a spooky book, which she later reads to her younger brother Max. However, the storytelling session has disastrous consequences, and soon Cassie is on a mission to rescue Max from the clutches of a mysterious stranger. Alex Winzenread and Brittany Curran star
