Synopsis:
Premiere. An Irish woman living in 19th-century New Zealand has an affair with the son of a Maori chief, resulting in the birth of a son. But when the child is six, he is abducted by his father's people. The determined mother spends the next 10 years searching for her missing son, and finds help in her quest from a Maori warrior seeking treatment for his ailing father.
