Movie (1998)
Jerry Springer obviously realised his acting skills wouldn't stand much of a test, so here he plays the host of a raunchy ratings winner - a controversial Los Angeles talk show. Chaos reigns when a new group of guests are flown in, including a woman whose husband had an affair with her teenage daughter, and another whose boyfriend has slept with all her friends - leading to bed-hopping, battles and physical violence. Comedy which successfully bypasses irony and humour, instead just plumping for crass vulgarity that's marginally less amusing than Springer's real-life show. Jaime Pressly and Molly Hagan co-star
