Early Nineties rap icon MC Hammer takes the part he was seemingly born to play - a down-on-his-luck pop singer who attempts to groom an aspiring band for stardom. Cheesy but undeniably well-meant drama, with Hammer proving he's no better at acting than he was at rapping. One-time Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart also appears, alongside her lesser-known real-life siblings Elizabeth, Brian, Emily and Alexandra. With Belinda Metz and Meshach Taylor
