Film adaptation of the hit musical set in 1980s New York, which follows a year in the life of young artists living in the East Village. Characters include a would-be film-maker pining for his lost love, a HIV positive musician recovering from drug addiction, and their landlord who has abandoned his bohemian ways for the pursuit of wealth. Rosario Dawson stars alongside members of the original Broadway cast, including Taye Diggs, Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal.
