Movie (2000)
A high-school teacher (Denzel Washington) struggles to deal with pressures both on and off the pitch as he faces his first season as American football coach of a racially mixed team in the early 1970s. Interesting fact-based drama which could have benefited from a lighter directorial touch than that of Boaz Yakin, but is still well worth watching. Washington gives a typically solid performance, while Will Patton, Wood Harris, Ryan Hurst, Nicole Ari Parker and Donald Faison offer support
