Satirist Bill Maher travels around the world to gain a measure of the current state of world religion and the impact it has on modern society. He speaks with Holocaust-denying rabbis and Muslims who preach hatred against Jewish people to try to understand why they hold their beliefs. He also spends time at a controversial Creationist museum in Kentucky and discovers a fellow skeptic in a highly unlikely location
