A CCTV operator buries herself in her work after the death of her husband and child, and becomes fixated with the comings and goings of an ex-convict while monitoring the Glasgow housing estate where he lives. In time she manages to edge herself into his life, but he is completely blind to the fact that her fascination with him has a sinister side.
