Movie (1999)
The psychic schoolgirl's half-sister is driven to despair by the suicide of a close friend, and unleashes her own telekinetic powers in an orgy of destruction. Only her predecessor's one-time pal, now working as a school counsellor, has any chance of stopping her. This belated sequel to Brian De Palma's classic chiller can't hope to match the shocks of the terrifying original. Amy Irving - one of the few teenagers to survive Carrie's fury in the first film - makes an appearance, alongside Emily Bergl, Jason London, Dylan Bruno and J Smith-Cameron
