Movie (2005)
Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane reprise the roles they played on Broadway for this second big-screen version of Mel Brooks' classic comedy. When an accountant realises a theatre flop can actually make more money than a hit, provided it is so bad it closes after one night, he joins forces with a washed-up producer to put on the worst play possible. Using a vile musical written by a neo-Nazi the pair get to work - but, of course, the production soon becomes hugely successful. Uma Thurman and Will Ferrell co-star in this inferior rehash, which was produced by Brooks himself
