Feisty royal Mia Thermopolis settles into her new role as a princess of Genova, but she soon discovers she might have to become queen sooner than expected. It is revealed that not only is she to succeed the throne on her 21st birthday, but also that an unmarried woman is not allowed to be the head of state. Mia now has 30 days to find herself a suitable husband - but an ambitious nobleman whose nephew will become king in her absence is determined to sabotage her hopes of romance.
