Interesting if unfulfilling biopic of 1970s Olympic star Steve Prefontaine. His hopes of playing American football dashed due to having legs of different lengths, the aspiring athlete instead takes up running - and his skills earn him a place in the 1972 Olympics. He goes on to become an outspoken advocate for amateur athletes, stirring up controversy in the press, before his life is cut short by a tragic car crash. Jared Leto stars as the tragic athlete, with R Lee Ermey, Ed O'Neill and Lindsay Crouse
