Acclaimed director Robert Altman's final film is an intricately woven comedy about a long-running live public radio show which is set to be closed down by a ruthless Texan millionaire, who has bought the theatre in which it is run. A host of colourful characters are among those who face the final curtain, including a singing cowboy duo and an aspiring teen vocalist, collaborate to make the final performance an unforgettable one.
