Movie (1992)
A South American city is struck by an outbreak of bubonic plague and becomes cut off from the outside world. A doctor chooses to remain in the city to treat the infected populace. He soon encounters an assortment of people who have also elected to stay for their own reasons, from journalists determined to cover the breaking story to religious leaders convinced they are witnessing the wrath of God.
