Movie (1986)
Incredibly expensive and odd swashbuckler from Roman Polanski. Walter Matthau hams it up as a crusty old sea-dog who is taken aboard a Spanish galleon - where he soon causes complete chaos for the crew. Movie veteran Matthau totally steals the film, starring alongside French pop singer Cris Campion, who plays his overshadowed sidekick (in a role originally meant for Polanski) and Charlotte Lewis makes her film debut before appearing in The Golden Child and then disappearing into the realms of obscurity
