A composer's work is stolen by a villainous aristocrat, and is assumed to have died in a fire. Now horribly disfigured, he lurks beneath the London opera house where his stolen work is being performed and plots revenge - but when he falls in love with the leading lady, he has her abducted and taken to his underground lair.
