Joel Schumacher's sumptuous adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical. Emmy Rossum stars as the beautiful singer who captures the heart of the legendary phantom (Gerard Butler), who lives beneath the opera house. However, his attempts to further her career leave her terrified and drive her into the arms of another man - prompting the jealous outcast to exact revenge.
