Nick Bartlett stars as Lee Vaughan, a blind man working for the social services whose dreams of becoming a football player are repeatedly dashed by his domineering boss. His American colleague makes it his mission to help Lee play his favourite sport, and enlists him in the local team. However, all does not go according to plan, and a series of bizarre events ensue.
