Movie (1989)
Steve Martin deals with the challenge of bringing up his kids while facing career troubles, family problems and general day-to-day survival in this rib-tickling comedy about the experiences of a 'typical' American extended family. Frequent humour and a fair amount of pathos make this an eminently watchable movie. The cast also includes Mary Steenburgen, Rick Moranis, Keanu Reeves, Jason Robards, and Dianne Wiest as a put-upon divorcee - a role that saw her nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar
