Movie (2006)
In the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War, inquisitive young firl Ofelia is taken by her pregnant mother to live with her new stepfather, the wicked Capitan Vidal. In the surroundings of her new abode, the fairytale-obsessed girl ventures into an elaborate stone labyrinth, where she encounters a mysterious faun named Pan. The creature sets Ofelia a series of disturbing tasks which she must complete in order to journey to an underground kingdom, where she will be restored to the throne as a princess. Guillermo del Toro's visually haunting and astounding period fantasy horror stars Sergi López, Ivana Baquero and Ariadna Gil. In Spanish with English subtitles.
