A girl preparing to join a Buddhist monastery is assigned a tough task by an elderly monk. She's sent on an epic journey to find a lad thought to be the reincarnation of a great spiritual teacher. However, the trip proves more perilous than expected when the boy witnesses a murder - and the killers set their sights on him.
