Movie (1999)
Tom Berenger produced and stars in this plodding fact-based drama, which follows the life of Irishman John Riley in 19th-century America. Like many of his fellow immigrants, Riley joins the Army in the hope of gaining US citizenship. When he is treated as a second-class citizen by many of the Protestant soldiers, he and his colleagues abandon their duties and start a new life in Mexico, forming the much-respected Saint Patrick's battalion.
