Synopsis:

Superb rip-roaring musical following three sailors (played by Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Jules Munshin) out for a good time while on shore leave in New York. Sinatra tries (initially) to fend off the advances of a female taxi driver, Munshin is pulled into helping an anthropologist's study of prehistoric man, while Kelly seeks out the model for a famous advertising campaign - but finds she isn't quite what he expected. Kelly also co-directs, while Leonard Bernstein provides a memorable score
