Old Boy
Movie (2004)
A husband and father is abducted and locked away in a small room for 15 years, with a TV set his only link to the outside world. When he sees a news report of his wife's murder, he desperately tries to escape, but before he can do so, he is set free and provided with money, but no explanation for why he's been incarcerated. Struggling to adapt to his newfound freedom after so long in captivity, he attempts to find out what has become of his family and who his captors were so he can carry out his own brand of revenge. Park Chan-wook's intense thriller is an inventive and horrifically violent tale, with more than one surprising twist along the way. Starring Choi Min-sik, Gang Hye-jung and Yu Ji-tae
