Brazilian drama starring Matheus Nachtergaele as penniless drifter Joao who, along with his timid best friend, is plunged into a series of bizarre events as he struggles to make a living. His adventures include accidentally poisoning a dog and having to arrange a funeral, helping his shy companion romance a rich man's daughter and finally getting murdered by gangsters, forcing him to match wits with the Devil in the afterlife.
