Jerry Lewis stars as a shy, awkward chemistry teacher with a crush on a beautiful student. When he discovers a potion that transforms him into an irresistible ladies' man, he comes close to attracting her attention - but at every critical moment the effects of the elixir wear off. Stella Stevens, Howard Morris and Kathleen Freeman also co-star in this comedy, remade in 1996 with Eddie Murphy in the title role
