Eddie Murphy gives an overbearing larger-than-life performance as an obese, terminally shy professor who stumbles on a potion which transforms him into a slim, loud-mouthed charmer. His new streamlined self immediately sets out to woo the woman of his dreams - but soon starts riding roughshod over everything the reclusive boffin cares about. Jada Pinkett, James Coburn and Larry Miller also star in this wacky comedy based on the 1963 Jerry Lewis film
