An elderly man reads a love story to a woman in a nursing home, from an old and faded notebook bulging with romantic scribblings about a passionate young couple whose fledgling affair is ripped asunder almost before it's begun.     I just watched this movie today. I do every so often. It is wonderfully acted movie, good script, well directed. This was the only time I saw that Ryan Gosling could act and he did a tremendous work as Noah. Report abuse

    My Mom has Alzheimer's & Thank God the Love Still From My Dad who struggles to help her.Now she must go to a Nursing Home & Know this will break my Dad's Heart.A wonderful Story because I see it happening in our Life..May they Find a Cure. Report abuse
