Sequel to the children's fantasy adventure, which sees lonely young hero Bastian once more seeking refuge from his unhappy life in the mysterious book, only to end up transported into the magical world of Fantasia. A wicked sorceress now threatens the land, and Bastian must help his old friends to stop her evil schemes. With the aid of a magical amulet, he is able to wield phenomenal power. But his abilities come at a price, and the witch is determined to make him use his gifts for evil. The charm and imagination of the original movie and the novel that inspired both films are sadly absent in this dumbed-down follow-up. Starring Jonathan Brandis and Kenny Morrison
