An average all-American dad takes his family on a disaster-filled cross-country drive to visit famous theme park Wally World - but their chances of arriving at their destination in one piece seem slim. This first entry in the wacky and frequently off-colour Vacation comedy series is easily the best, with Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo on fine form.
