Movie (1989)
American householder Chevy Chase is surprised to find his plans for a traditional festive family holiday thrown into manic disarray by a succession of annoying neighbours and long-lost relatives who turn up on his doorstep offering their own brand of Christmas cheer. The third film following the continuing misadventures of the Griswold family has absurd seasonal shenanigans aplenty - everything audiences expect from the makers of Animal House and Loaded Weapon 1. The fine cast also includes Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid, Diane Ladd, Juliette Lewis, Miriam Flynn, Johnny Galecki and William Hickey.
